Lakeshield Adds Three to BDM and Underwriting Teams

Lakeshield, the London-based bridging lender, has appointed Jon Sturgess and Amjad Ibn-Abdul as Business Development Managers and Chloe Carlin as an Underwriter, as the business continues to expand its origination and credit capabilities.

All three appointments reflect Lakeshield's continued growth in residential, commercial, and refurbishment bridging volumes.

Jon Sturgess brings extensive sales leadership experience in specialist lending, including seven years as Head of Sales at Masthaven Bank and prior roles at TAB and StrideUp. He joins Lakeshield's BDM team with a track record of building intermediary relationships across the specialist finance market.

Amjad Ibn-Abdul joins the BDM team with a background spanning both the lender and broker sides of property finance. His career includes roles at Alternative Bridging Corporation, Tuscan Capital, and Rainstone Money, covering bridging, commercial, and refurbishment finance across the UK.

Chloe Carlin joins as Bridging Underwriter from Kuflink, where she spent nearly a decade across underwriting, case management, and sales management roles. Her experience in specialist bridging credit processes will support Lakeshield's underwriting team as deal volumes increase.
