Omni Protect appoints Dave Butler to Head of Protection Development role

Omni Protect, Fintel’s whole of market premium protection club proposition, has appointed long-standing industry figure, Dave Butler, to the position of Head of Protection Development. In the newly created role, Butler will grow and evolve Omni Protect’s proposition, making it easier and more compelling for advisers to write protection business, whilst strengthening relationships with providers and working to improve client outcomes.

Butler brings over 25 years’ experience in the protection sector, most recently with L&G, and has previously held senior roles in business development and proposition design at AIG, Zurich, and Vitality.

Launched in September 2025, Omni Protect represents around 22% of the directly authorised population and provides access to enhanced commission rates, dedicated BDM support, and a comprehensive programme of face-to-face and digital education and networking opportunities.
