Countrywide Surveying Services to host Future Insight Forum 2026

03 June 2026

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), one of the UK's leading providers of valuation panel management and property risk services, will bring together senior leaders from across the mortgage, lending and property sectors at its annual Future Insight Forum to be held at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in London on Wednesday 10 June.

The event will bring together senior lender stakeholders and property risk professionals to form in-depth discussions on the key challenges and opportunities shaping the property market today, alongside emerging trends in valuations, technology, and home condition surveys.

Sessions will include insight from Aneisha Beveridge, Group Head of Research at Connells Group, who will provide an overview on the shape of the housing market activity so far this year.

This will be followed by a mortgage market update from Graham Closier, Group Mortgage Development Director at Connells Group, who will examine lending volumes, borrower behaviour and the outlook for the months ahead.

Attendees will also hear an introduction to The Property Transaction Network from Jean Coughlan, Home Conveyancing Director at Connells Group, and Tim Muir, Project Manager at Connells Group. The session will explore how greater connectivity and collaboration across the transaction process could help reduce delays, improve efficiency and deliver a smoother experience for consumers.

A dedicated session focused on customer outcomes and quality will feature Steve Lees MRICS, Associate Director, Technical Services at Countrywide Surveying Services who will examine the link between professional standards, Customer Duty and consumer trust. Helen Stead, Head of Countrywide Home Surveys will then discuss the growing role of home condition surveys.

The event will conclude with an expert panel discussion and closing remarks from Kharla Mullen, Chief Commercial Officer at Countrywide Surveying Services.

A limited number of places remain available. Those wishing to attend should register by emailing Kym-Marie.Chambers@cwsurveyors.co.uk.

Matthew Cumber, Managing Director at Countrywide Surveying Services, commented:

“One of the biggest challenges facing our sector is ensuring innovation delivers genuine improvements rather than simply adding another layer to an already complicated process. The Future Insight Forum creates an opportunity for lenders, surveyors and property professionals to share knowledge, challenge conventional thinking and focus on the practical changes that can make the property and lending journey work better for everyone involved.

"As lending, valuation and property risk become increasingly interconnected, it is important that the industry continues to have open conversations about the issues affecting decision-making, efficiency and customer outcomes. By bringing together a range of perspectives, we can help identify solutions that deliver meaningful benefits across the market."
