Stance Asset Finance Completes £350,000 Vehicle Funding Facility with Tailored Repayment Structure

20 July 2026

Stance Asset Finance, the new asset finance brand from United Trust Bank, has completed a £350,000 funding facility enabling a vehicle leasing business to acquire nine new light commercial vehicles whilst preserving working capital and supporting future growth plans.

The transaction was introduced by Hart Asset Finance and structured by Rebecca Walton, Regional Broker Manager at Stance Asset Finance.

The customer required a credit line to support the purchase of multiple vehicles which would subsequently be leased to businesses and daily rental operators, with the facility enabling the business to continue investing in growth whilst maintaining liquidity.

A key feature of the transaction was the tailored repayment structure designed around the customer's specific cash flow requirements. Stance approved the deal as proposed by the broker, incorporating a bespoke payment profile including an upfront payment, an enhanced second-month payment and lower ongoing monthly repayments thereafter.

Key Deal Highlights:

  • £350,000 facility
  • Funding for nine new light commercial vehicles
  • Structured credit line to support ongoing fleet acquisitions
  • Bespoke 12-month repayment profile and balloon tailored to the customer’s requirements

The deal also highlights the role Stance is designed to fulfil within the specialist asset finance market. Whilst the customer had previously been reviewed under a more traditional lending framework, the launch of Stance provided an opportunity to revisit the proposal and take a fresh view of the business and its funding requirements.

Rebecca Walton, Regional Broker Manager at Stance Asset Finance, said:

"This is exactly the type of deal Stance was created to support. The broker understood their client's business and proposed a structure which reflected how they wanted to manage their cash flow. We were able to review the proposal on its merits and deliver a solution which worked for everyone.

Billy Hart, Managing Director of Hart Asset Finance, said:

“Rebecca has been a delight to work with and has been able to assist in helping with some of my more bespoke funding solutions. After talking through a particularly complex deal, she assured us that this was the sort of transaction Stance would be willing to consider.

“The customer had a clear requirement and a repayment structure in mind which reflected the way their business operates. Stance took the time to understand the proposal, approved the deal as presented and delivered a funding solution tailored to the customer's needs. That's exactly the sort of flexibility brokers value when supporting clients with more specialist requirements.

“I couldn’t recommend Rebecca enough for all her help and support and look forward to working with Stance further in the future.”
