Word On The Street posts record year as specialist brokerage arranges over £108 million in property finance

Specialist property finance brokerage Word On The Street has published its annual report for 2025-2026, revealing a record year in which the firm arranged more than £108 million in property finance across 239 completed cases. The results reflect twelve months in which the firm remained focused on the fundamentals: serving clients, investing in its people and continuously improving its operations, all against a backdrop of global economic uncertainty and shifting market conditions.
The period also saw the firm invest in a bespoke CRM platform, built specifically around the needs of its clients and team, laying a stronger foundation for scalability and service excellence in the years ahead. The business also expanded its team to nine colleagues and picked up two industry awards, winning BTL Mortgage Broker of the Year at the Business Moneyfacts Awards 2026 and Property Finance Broker of the Year at the BFSI Insider Awards 2026.
Key figures from the report include:
- Total gross loan amount rose 62% YoY to £108,719,807
- Total revenue increased 75% YoY to £1,838,128
- Total number of cases grew 130% YoY to 239
The results span bridging, buy to let, development and commercial mortgage activity, with buy to let accounting for the largest share of cases at 130, followed by 82 bridging cases, 16 development cases and 11 commercial mortgage cases.
