Chartwell Mortgage Services replaces legacy CRM with JammJar AI-powered operating system

24 July 2026

Chartwell Mortgage Services has become the latest mortgage broker firm to adopt JammJar as its AI-powered operating system, replacing its existing CRM platform with technology designed specifically for the AI era.

The firm is replacing Lifecycle 360 with JammJar, moving away from a traditional CRM towards an AI-powered operating system that transforms how advisers and support teams manage clients, progress cases and run the business.

Unlike conventional CRM systems, JammJar combines AI, workflow automation and intelligent business insights to reduce administration, strengthen compliance and give advisers more time to focus on clients. Rather than simply digitising existing processes, the platform is designed to become the operating system for modern mortgage businesses.

Chartwell's adoption follows growing momentum for JammJar, which recently confirmed it is onboarding six mortgage firms over the coming weeks.

The announcement also comes ahead of JammJar's next-generation platform launch, which will be unveiled during a live online webinar on Thursday 17 September at 11am.

Attendees will receive the first public demonstration of the latest version of the platform, including enhanced AI capabilities, configurable workflow automation, AI agents, deeper Microsoft and iPipeline integrations, and a redesigned customer experience.

The webinar is free to attend and registration is now open here.

Scott Howitt, Sales Director at Chartwell Mortgage Services, said:

"The mortgage market is changing rapidly and we believe firms need technology that does much more than record customer information. We wanted a platform that could genuinely help us work smarter, automate repetitive tasks and give our advisers more time to spend with clients.

“After reviewing the market, it became clear that JammJar isn't simply another CRM. It's an AI-powered operating system that has the potential to reshape the way we run the business, and we're excited to be part of that journey."

Karl Griffin, CEO and co-founder of JammJar, said:

"The firms that will lead the mortgage industry over the next decade won't simply have better CRMs – they'll operate in a completely different way.

"Chartwell has recognised that the real value in AI isn't as an add-on to existing software. The real value is when AI powers the operating system that sits at the heart of the business. By replacing a legacy CRM with JammJar, they're investing in technology that will continually evolve, automate more of the mortgage journey and help advisers spend more time doing what they do best – advising clients.

"We're seeing more forward-thinking firms move away from asking, 'Which CRM should we choose?' and instead asking, 'How should our business operate in an AI-first world?' That's a fundamentally different conversation, and one we are happy to have with broker firms that are ready to adapt to the next evolution of the mortgage advice market.”
