TFAS Compliance Services launches month of expert webinars ahead of April 2027 IHT and pensions reforms

25 August 2026

TFAS Compliance Services has released the next phase of its 2027 Ready Programme, with a full month of webinars starting next week to help advisers prepare clients for the incoming IHT and pensions changes.

Advisers will be able to access a weekly webinar from Columbia Threadneedle, M&G, Aegon and Downing, with those attending all four unlocking bonus CPD.

This is the latest wave of support from the compliance service provider, designed to ensure advisers have access to guidance and support in the run-up to the rule changes coming into effect next April.

The programme continues into October with a main platform address from Quilter at The Financial Advice Summit, where all partners of the programme will be on hand to talk to delegates. Further webinars are scheduled for November and December, with additional insight planned for Q1 2027.

The webinars and conference sessions form part of the wider 2027 Ready Programme, which saw the launch of a dedicated hub last month. The hub gives advisers access to guidance and further support from the partners backing the initiative, which also includes estate planning support from Beneficiary Wills and Trusts, care advice from My Care Consultant, and consumer-facing material delivered by The Online Marketing Department.

TFAS has also created a definitive compliance toolkit, which includes pension succession decision tool, guide to changes, planning measures and adviser considerations, client scenarios, frequently asked questions and April 2027 readiness plan.

TFAS Enterprises Chief Commercial Officer, Richard Ardron, said:

“We engaged with advisers early to understand exactly what support was required ahead of the April changes, and have collaborated with some of the industry’s leading experts to create a definitive programme of support to help advisers with client conversations around the changes and the impact this may have.”

“With such fundamental changes, we felt it imperative to have a good lead-up to April, ensuring everyone could access the information and support they needed, irrespective of where they were in terms of client engagement.”

Ronnie Taylor, Chief Distribution Officer at Aegon added

“With retirement planning high on the adviser agenda and significant regulatory change ahead, we are delighted to support TFAS advisers through their specialist Retirement Programme. Together, we're helping advisers enhance their knowledge, strengthen advice processes, and deliver better client outcomes through education, wellbeing support and retirement-focused propositions.”
