Newcastle for Intermediaries reduces rates across residential range and launches new Base Rate Tracker products

01 September 2026

Newcastle for Intermediaries has announced rate reductions of up to 0.25% across selected products within its residential mortgage range, alongside the launch of a new range of Base Rate Tracker products.

The latest reductions apply across selected purchase, remortgage and product transfer options, with lower rates available on products across a range of terms and loan-to-value bands, including up to 95% LTV. Fee-assisted products have also seen reductions, helping to support borrowers looking to manage upfront costs.

In addition, Newcastle for Intermediaries has launched a new range of competitive Base Rate Tracker products, aimed at customers who expect rates to fall in the near term or who would benefit from the flexibility offered by lower early repayment charges.

The enhanced range supports a broad range of customer types, including first-time buyers, home movers, remortgage customers and existing borrowers, reinforcing Newcastle for Intermediaries' commitment to providing solutions that meet evolving borrower needs.

Michelle Ash, national account manager at Newcastle Building Society, said:

"We're committed to providing brokers with a broad range of competitive solutions that help them support clients at every stage of their homeownership journey.

"By reducing rates across selected products and introducing new Base Rate Tracker options, we're giving brokers greater flexibility to tailor recommendations to individual circumstances and preferences. Whether clients are looking for longer-term certainty, support with upfront costs, or the opportunity to benefit from any future reductions in base rate, these latest enhancements ensure brokers have even more choice available through Newcastle for Intermediaries."

The updated range continues Newcastle for Intermediaries' focus on supporting brokers with competitive products, flexible lending solutions and dedicated service, helping advisers deliver positive outcomes for their clients in a changing market.
