09 September 2026
Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), one of the UK's leading providers of valuation panel management and property risk services, has extended its long-standing relationship with Coventry Building Society.
Under the renewed contract, CSS will continue to deliver valuation services in support of the Society's residential and buy-to-let mortgage lending activity across the UK. The contract also incorporates Co-op Bank, which is now a subsidiary of the Society.
The arrangement reflects a mutual commitment to maintaining high professional standards, adopting new technologies where they add value, and ensuring robust property risk assessment throughout the lending process.
As one of the UK's largest building societies, Coventry Building Society serves millions of members and is widely recognised for its customer-focused approach and broad range of mortgage products.
Matthew Cumber, Managing Director at Countrywide Surveying Services, commented:
“Over the years, we've worked closely with Coventry Building Society to develop a valuation approach that balances efficiency with appropriate risk oversight. As property risk factors become more varied, whether that's environmental considerations, changing property types or shifting market conditions, access to high-quality data and experienced professional judgement becomes even more important.
"The strength of long-standing relationships is that they create the foundation for continuous improvement, and we're looking forward to building on our work with Coventry Building Society in the years ahead."
Shelley Rodway, Head of Servicing Mortgage Operations at Coventry Building Society, added:
“We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Countrywide Surveying Services for a further five years. Their expertise, service quality and commitment to our customers have made them a valued partner, and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship.”
