Somo shortlisted for Finance Partner of the Year at Manchester Property Awards 2026

The awards celebrate the businesses, teams and individuals helping to shape Manchester’s property landscape, with entries judged by a panel including senior decision-makers from across the region’s 10 borough councils alongside influential figures from the property industry.
For Somo, the recognition feels particularly special. Manchester is our home, and we’re incredibly proud to be recognised among the businesses driving one of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious property markets forward.
The shortlist comes during an exciting period of growth and innovation for Somo.
Over the past year, we’ve continued to challenge what specialist property finance can look like - launching new products, developing more flexible ways to lend and finding new ways to help brokers get complex cases moving.
That includes the launch of Prime bridging from 0.69% per month, the continued growth of our specialist First and Second Charge lending and the strongly received Landlord’s Breathing Space.
Behind all of that is a simple belief: why make finance difficult? We look for ways to make good deals work, cut through unnecessary complexity and give brokers direct access to real decision-makers.

The winners will be announced at the Manchester Property Awards ceremony on 6 November 2026 at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.
