New Bromsgrove branch signals Dudley Building Society’s ambition to support future growth

Dudley Building Society’s new Bromsgrove branch is the latest sign of its growth as a business, expanding its funding base and strengthening its potential to lend through the broker market.

The Society’s seventh branch is expected to help attract additional retail savings, providing greater capacity to lend through intermediaries over time. It forms part of a broader growth strategy designed to strengthen the business and allow further investment in Dudley’s intermediary proposition, including the individual underwriting and service it provides to brokers.

Alongside that strategic role, the Bromsgrove branch will focus on becoming central to the community it serves through a programme of activity under the banner ‘Putting the Heart Back in the High Street’, working with residents, businesses, schools and community groups. It will also provide a base for the Society’s Prosper programme, bringing together local business leaders and people from the community through structured mentoring.

The branch opening will be followed by an official launch event on 5th October involving representatives from Dudley Building Society and the local community.
