Liberty Finance goes live with Lendscape's Asset Finance platform

07 October 2026

Liberty Finance goes live with Lendscape's Asset Finance platform, gaining a single real-time view of its lending operations and supporting faster customer decisions.

SOUTHAMPTON & LONDON, 07 October- Liberty Finance, a leading alternative finance provider, has completed its digital transformation journey by implementing Lendscape's cutting-edge, AI-enabling asset finance platform. Through API integration with Liberty Live, Liberty Finance's bespoke customer management platform, the two systems now exchange data automatically, creating a complete end-to-end data cycle and providing Liberty Finance with a real-time view of its lending book.

For Liberty Finance's team, the practical result is the elimination of manual data transfers between systems, improved data integrity across the operation, and faster access to the information that supports day-to-day lending decisions. Together, these improvements create a solid foundation for the AI-enabled processes Liberty Finance plans to introduce across the business.

When Liberty Finance selected Lendscape, two of the deciding factors were the ability to validate integrations in a sandbox environment before deployment and the flexibility to configure the platform to its specific requirements rather than adapting to a rigid, one-size-fits-all system. This flexibility, combined with the thorough build-up to deployment, helped lay the foundation for a successful go-live.

"This is a real milestone for Liberty," said Alan Cooper, Finance Director at Liberty Finance. "We chose Lendscape to give ourselves more control and to keep our customers at the centre of what we do, and that's what it delivers: less complexity behind the scenes, faster turnaround for our customers, and a platform we can grow with rather than work around. That long-term fit is why Lendscape was the right partner for us."

"The real benefit for us is having everything connected," said Ed Ockleford, Head of Technology at Liberty Finance. "Our systems now share data automatically, so we have real-time visibility and greater data integrity, and our people spend less time moving information around and more time with customers. That accurate, up-to-date data is the foundation for safely increasing automation, and for the AI-enabled processes we want to build on top of it."

Steve Taplin, Chief Product Officer at Lendscape, said of the go-live:

"With Liberty Live and our Asset Finance platform now working as one, Liberty Finance is continuing its drive towards smarter, data-driven operations, cutting manual effort and lifting productivity across the business. It's a secure, reliable base built for exactly these foundations, and to support the supervised, AI-enabled processes Liberty Finance is moving towards."
