Cardium Law joins the BDLA as Associate Member
15 October 2026
Cardium Law Limited has joined the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) as an Associate Member.
Cardium Law is a specialist litigation business providing legal services across construction, business and finance. The firm works with businesses of different sizes and has connections across insurers, brokers and litigation funders, enabling it to support clients with litigation, access to finance and risk management.
The BDLA is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders and their customers. Its membership brings together lenders and associate firms from across the specialist property finance market, providing a collective voice for the sector and promoting high standards, responsible lending and best practice. The Association also engages with regulators, policymakers and wider stakeholders on issues affecting the market.
Adam Tyler, CEO of the BDLA, commented:
“Legal expertise is an important part of the infrastructure that supports specialist property finance, particularly as lenders navigate increasingly complex transactions and manage risk throughout the lending process.
“Bringing firms with different areas of professional expertise into the BDLA helps create a broader exchange of knowledge between lenders and the businesses that support them. Cardium Law brings experience across litigation, finance and construction, and we look forward to drawing on that perspective as part of our Associate membership.”
Matthew Clark, Chief Executive Officer at Cardium Law, said:
“Specialist property finance increasingly relies on different disciplines working effectively together and there’s real value in bringing the right legal and finance expertise around a transaction or dispute rather than looking at each issue in isolation.
“Joining the BDLA gives Cardium an opportunity to contribute our experience to a wider network of lenders and professional advisers and build the relationships that help the industry deal with complex situations more effectively.”
