Uinsure builds further on record revenue with senior leadership appointments

Uinsure has significantly strengthened its senior leadership team across distribution, technology and finance, following record revenue driven by winning numerous new partnerships and continued investment in its technology and partner network.

Alongside major intermediary partners, the business now works with a substantial number of the UK’s leading banks and building societies, including NatWest Group and Virgin Money, and is set to announce further partnerships in the coming months, with gross written premium expected to grow again this financial year.

The leadership team now includes Jess Jubb, Director of Bank, Building Society and Affinity Partnerships, who led major multi-product insurance partnerships at Intact (previously RSA). Jan Marais, Director of Technology Delivery and Innovation, brings experience of more than 100 AI implementations, and Andy Plowman, Director of Strategic Finance and FP&A, has held senior finance roles at Atlanta Group and Co-op. They sit alongside Tom Doyle, who was appointed Chief Trading Officer in October.

The appointments will allow Uinsure to accelerate the shift towards embedded insurance as it continues to redefine how consumers transact. Banks, building societies and affinity brands are using Uinsure’s technology to build insurance into their own customer journeys and AI is changing how customers search and how advisers serve them.

Uinsure’s senior team is shaped around that opportunity, with a focus on closer, more integrated partnerships with intermediaries, lenders and brands, and faster delivery of new technology. That work is supported by the Uinsure AI Lab, which launched earlier this year, and by the trading and financial discipline its insurer partners rely on.
