Landbay announce new National Account Manager

26 October 2026

Buy-to-let lender, Landbay, has today (26th October 2026) announced the appointment of Scott Phillips as a new National Account Manager, strengthening its national accounts team as it expands its distribution reach.

Scott joins Landbay with 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, much of it spent working in national accounts and in roles involving the management and development of sales teams.

Most recently, Scott worked with Saffron for Intermediaries as an Intermediary Sales Manager, having previously been Head of Sales at Moda Mortgages, part of Chetwood Bank, and a National Account Manager at Vida.

In his new role, Scott will work with Landbay’s network and mortgage club partners, supporting existing relationships and helping the lender reach a wider range of advisers and their landlord clients.

The appointment follows the continued development of Landbay’s proposition and distribution strategy, including the addition of its Premier range. This has widened the types of landlord and buy-to-let cases the lender can support and has increased its focus on ensuring its product offering is available to advisers across a broad range of distribution channels.

Scott will work as part of Landbay’s national accounts team to support that growth and build on its relationships with key distribution partners.

Scott’s appointment follows the announcement earlier this month of Daniel Bell as Landbay’s new BDM covering North Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland.

Rob Stanton, Sales and Distribution Director at Landbay, said:

“Scott brings a huge amount of mortgage market experience to Landbay, particularly within national accounts, and he has an excellent understanding of how lenders can work successfully with networks, clubs and their member firms.

“Our proposition has grown considerably, particularly following the addition of our Premier range, and that means we are now able to support an even wider range of landlords and buy-to-let cases. Distribution has an important part to play in ensuring advisers understand the breadth of what we can offer and where Landbay might be able to help their clients.

“Scott’s experience and relationships across the intermediary market will be a real asset as we continue to develop our work with our network, club and distributor partners, and we are very pleased to welcome him to the team.”

Scott Phillips, National Account Manager at Landbay, added:

“Landbay has built a strong reputation in the specialist buy-to-let market and, with the continued development of its product range, there is a significant opportunity to make sure more advisers understand the wider range of cases we can now support.

“I have spent much of my career working with national accounts and sales teams, so I am looking forward to using that experience to strengthen Landbay’s relationships with its partners, while helping more advisers access the excellent buy-to-let proposition we have.”
