CFBUK adds specialist insurance support through eCOVERS partnership
04 November 2026
CFBUK Specialist Finance has partnered with eCOVERS Insurance Broker to give its brokers and appointed representatives (ARs) access to specialist commercial insurance support for their clients.
The partnership extends the support available through CFBUK Specialist Finance across specialist property finance and business finance, giving brokers and AR members a dedicated insurance team they can introduce clients to when cover forms part of their wider requirements.
For brokers, arranging funding often brings other client needs into view. A property purchase may require insurance before completion, a development project may need construction cover, or a growing business may need to review its existing protection as it invests in premises, equipment or vehicles.
Through the partnership, brokers and AR network members can connect those clients with eCOVERS for a review of their insurance needs, advice and placement, with ongoing support once cover is in place.
The arrangement supports CFBUK Specialist Finance’s broader approach to helping brokers and ARs meet more of their clients’ needs through access to specialist expertise and practical business support.
Mark Grant, Managing Director at CFBUK, said:
“Our brokers build strong relationships with their clients and often understand far more about the business than the immediate funding need. Insurance is a clear example: almost every property deal needs cover, usually before completion, and clients are often left waiting on a third party to arrange it.
“Our members will have a dedicated specialist team they can introduce those clients to. It adds value for the client and helps keep completions on track, with eCOVERS taking care of the insurance advice, placement and ongoing support while the client relationship stays with the broker.”
London-based eCOVERS arranges cover across six core lines: property, commercial combined, construction, professional risks, security liability and motor.
Through its relationships with UK insurers, MGAs and the Lloyd’s market, the broker handles both everyday and harder-to-place risks, including unoccupied and mixed-use properties, landlord portfolios, high-risk construction trades and haulage fleets. Cover is subject to the insurer’s assessment and terms.
Nicolae Caminschi, Chief Executive Officer of eCOVERS Insurance Broker, said:
“Finance and insurance go hand in hand. When a business secures funding for a property or a new stage of growth, protecting that investment is the natural next step. Working with CFBUK Specialist Finance means their clients have a broker they can rely on, with access to a wide panel of insurers and a team that understands their business.”
