Bridgewater Broker Forums move on to Stoke and Plymouth in June

27 May 2010

Bridgewater Equity Release, the home reversion specialist, has today (27th May 2010) announced it is to host equity release broker forums in both Stoke on Trent and Plymouth during June. The Stoke on Trent forum will take place at the Best Western Manor House Hotel, Audley Road, Alsager, Stoke on Trent ST7 2QQ on Wednesday 23rd June 2010. The second forum in June will take place a day later, Thursday 24th June, at the Future Inn Plymouth, Plymouth International Business Park, 1 William Prance Road, Plymouth PL6 5US. The forums will follow the usual format with each beginning at 10.30am and finishing at 1pm - free parking is available at both venues and all attendees will be provided with lunch. Bridgewater staff will be on hand to facilitate the meetings and advisers who are currently active in the equity release market and those who are considering entering the sector are invited to attend. Discussions are informal and open allowing brokers to share ideas and insight with their peer group on a variety of equity release topics. Bridgewater staff are able to offer insight and information on home reversion plans, where and who they are appropriate for, plus guidance is offered on areas such as marketing, lead generation and how to develop a successful equity release advisory business. Places at both the Stoke and Plymouth Forums are strictly limited and those advisers wishing to register or enquire about the event should phone Alison Stephenson on 0191-269 5982 or e-mail: astephenson@bridgewaterequityrelease.co.uk Peter Welch, Head of Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented: “Next month sees Bridgewater continuing our range of forums with events taking place in Stoke and Plymouth on two consecutive days. Demand for places at these forums continues to grow as do requests from advisers to visit their own regions which is why we continue to offer this outlet for our broker customers to meet up and learn more about the equity release sector as a whole and particularly the home reversion market. Equity release is an area which changes constantly and it is therefore important that advisers have a strong grasp of the products available, techniques to bring in more customers and the necessary resource in order to provide quality advice each and every time. These forums allow the pooling of ideas between one’s peer group and Bridgewater representatives so that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet and working together to develop individual businesses and the entire sector. We therefore look forward to meeting the adviser community in both Stoke and Plymouth next month to discuss these issues.” Bridgewater Equity Release recently finished runner-up in the ‘Best Equity Release Provider’ category at the MyIntroducer.com 2010 Industry Awards.
