Seminar offers opportunity for IFAs to hone their hedge fund and absolute return skills

Professor Steve Thomas amongst expert speakers at Hasley Investment Management seminar Opportunity for IFAs to brush up on knowledge of the hedge and absolute return sectors, which are now major and essential components of portfolios PROFESSOR Steve Thomas of the Cass Business School will be amongst the speakers at Hasley Investment Management’s seminar for IFAs on hedge funds next month (June 2010). Understanding Hedge Funds will provide IFAs with an unmissable opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into a highly valuable aspect of financial management. “Hedge and absolute return funds are playing an increasingly important role as a performance stabiliser and diversifier within balanced portfolios and this is an opportunity for IFAs to polish their skills in this important area,” said Hasley Investment Management partner Jeremy Nunn. Joining Professor Thomas on the platform at the Westbury Hotel, Mayfair, on Wednesday 23 June will be some of the most respected authorities on the subject of hedge funds. Robin Bowie of Dexion Capital will give the keynote address, followed by International Asset Management’s Sean Molony, Mark James of RBS Global Banking & Markets and Hasley Investment Management partner Roderick Collins. The seminar takes place on Wednesday 23 June at the Westbury Hotel, Conduit Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 2YF.
