Bristol and Nottingham next stops for Bridgewater Broker Forums

30 June 2010

Bridgewater Equity Release, the home reversion specialist, has today (30th June 2010) added a further two dates in July to its roster of broker forums taking place across the country. First up will be a forum in Bristol taking place on Tuesday 13th July at Ashfords Solicitors, Tower Wharf, Cheese Lane, Bristol BS2 0JJ. The second forum will be held the next day, Wednesday 14th July, at Best Western Bestwood Lodge Hotel, Bestwood Country Park, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 8NE. The forums will follow the usual format with each beginning at 10.30am and finishing at 1pm - free parking is available at the Nottingham venue but not in Bristol and all attendees will be provided with lunch. As always, Bridgewater staff will facilitate the forums and advisers who are currently involved in the equity release market and those who are considering entering the sector are invited to attend. Bridgewater staff will offer a range of information and insight, particularly on the home reversion market and topics such as the methods advisers can use to generate increased business and guidance on areas such as developing a fee-charging proposition. Places at both the Bristol and Nottingham Forums are strictly limited and those advisers wishing to register or enquire about the event should phone Alison Stephenson on 0191-269 5982 or e-mail: astephenson@bridgewaterequityrelease.co.uk Peter Welch, Head of Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented: “Once again Bridgewater’s commitment to equity release advisers and those who are looking at the provision of advice in this area means we continue to run our Broker Forums, next month taking in both Bristol and Nottingham. There have been a number of sector developments over the past month which we will discuss at the forum including recent provider activity in the market that has impacted on the number of products currently available. As always the meeting is driven by our attendees and we anticipate discussions around lead generation, marketing, fee-charging and the provision of good practice. Bridgewater staff will also highlight some of the key issues around the home reversion market which, as SHIP figures reveal, continues to grow in terms of its percentage of overall equity release business. Our forums are often driven by regional broker demand so if there is an area of the country advisers would like us to hold a forum in they are welcome to contact Bridgewater so we can add further dates throughout 2010.” Bridgewater Equity Release recently finished runner-up in the ‘Best Equity Release Provider’ category at the MyIntroducer.com 2010 Industry Awards.
