Conveyancing Alliance announce 25% price cut for transactional conveyancing fee
10 August 2010
Conveyancing Alliance Ltd, the online conveyancing distributor, have today (10 August 2010) announced new price cuts for transactional conveyancing fees with up to a 25% reduction in the cost. Now Conveyancing Alliance’s transactional conveyancing fees start at £229 plus VAT; the previous cheapest fee was £310 plus VAT offering a saving of £81. The overall cost of transactional conveyancing depends on the value of the property. This product price change is the second such offering from Conveyancing Alliance since it announced a series of enhancements to its quotation system; it also follows the launch of its limited offer three-month special ‘Rapid Remortgage’ product last week, priced at a market-leading £120 plus VAT. The overall enhancements and upgrade to the Conveyancing Alliance’s system ensure quotes are displayed with full details of additional disbursements and costs, offering total transparency and accuracy for each individual client. Harpal Singh, Managing Director of Conveyancing Alliance Ltd, commented: “Following on from the recent announcement of our enhanced system and the ‘Rapid Remortgage’ we are now in a position to roll-out this reduction to our transactional conveyancing fees. Savings of up to 25% are now available with the added benefit of a bespoke client quotation accurately detailing all additional disbursements and costs. The timing is also particularly apt given the suspension of home information packs (HIPs); because of this purchasers will have to pay for search costs where previously this was paid by the vendor. This transactional conveyancing cost-saving will come at the right time for many who will need to pay for new searches as those within the HIP may already be out of date. “We have seen a significant increase in purchase conveyancing instructions and completions through estate agents over the last 12 months and believe intermediaries and advisers have the opportunity to benefit from this rise if they are willing to deal with their client’s conveyancing. It has been apparent that some advisers are missing out on the transactional conveyancing sale to the estate agent and this cut in fees is designed to generate broker interest while providing an important cost-saving for the client. We believe brokers should engage with the transactional conveyancing process and at the same time benefit from the extra income opportunities to be had; some brokers are already earning fees of over £200 per conveyancing transaction. This will involve some extra work but it will be worth it in terms of providing a more holistic and professional advisory service. Those brokers interested in benefiting from this service and ensuring their client has a top of the range conveyancing support at low cost should contact Conveyancing Alliance to see how we can support them in this area.” For more information on Conveyancing Alliance, visit: www.movewithcal.co.uk EndsClick below to download the full press release
