Goldsmith Williams, the direct conveyancing firm, is trialling a new facility which will provide brokers who use Goldsmith Williams’ conveyancing service with a free client credit check, valuation and anti money laundering ID report. The free service, which is powered by Omnii’s CheckIT facility, gives brokers access to an online report which enables them to complete a client fact find quickly and make a recommendation based on verified facts. The credit check, which does not leave a footprint on the clients’ credit file, identifies all loans and debts held by the client, making an assessment of affordability much easier. It will also reveal any adverse credit information such as any missed payments and CCJs. Brokers are also able to obtain an anti money laundering ID check and confirm the value of their clients’ property. Eddie Goldsmith, Senior Partner at Goldsmith Williams, said: “Brokers who use Goldsmith Williams’ conveyancing service will be entitled to a free Omnii CheckIT report, which they can access online at any time. The reports will save brokers a lot of time and prevent wasted effort, by giving them hard, factual information before they make a recommendation to a client.
