PMS’ new insurance panel set to drive revenue

Mortgage and ancillary service distributor PMS, has launched a new insurance panel, aimed to help drive additional revenue for intermediaries in today’s tough market. The new insurance panel is only available to PMS’s authorized advisers and is expected to help diversify their business and enhance their client proposition. The panel is set to provide a range of choice for advisers and comprises leading general insurance providers including Abbey, Assurant, Intermediary, Halifax, Paymentshield, Sesame Insure and Towergate Home & Protect. Roger Crocker, head of protection at PMS said: “Firms that have embraced general insurance have definitely reaped the rewards, and the fact this is annual event insurance also makes it a great way to keep in touch with clients, potentially opening doors to further opportunities.” The new service was launched following an extensive review of the market, and against the backdrop of the challenging economic climate.
