Property Portfolio Rescue rebrands as PPR Estates
03 November 2010
Property Portfolio Rescue (PPR), the UK-based property company, has today (3rd November 2010) announced a rebranding of the business and from now on will be known as PPR Estates. The rebrand to PPR Estates reflects the firm’s position as a successful and expanding private property business with a substantial portfolio of commercial and residential properties. PPR Estates’ private status enables it to take a long-term strategic view while its flat business structure facilitates swift investment decisions and private funding means it is implemented quickly. PPR Estates’ strategic acquisition focus remains London and the South East. It has a particular expertise in asset management and works with a large network of specialist partners, including estate agents, accountants, solicitors and brokers to develop and enhance its portfolio. PPR Estates’ directors have over 35 years practical experience in commercial and residential property acquisition and management. Strategically, PPR aims to grow its portfolio to £100m of assets in the next few years, to become one of the UK's leading landlords. Nick Hopkinson, Director of PPR Estates, said: “Today’s announcement marks the start of the next chapter in PPR Estates’ business development. The new, more focused name reflects our growing status as a significant London property owner. “While, the overall ethos of the work we carry out continues to be the same, namely that we are a serious, long-term landlord looking to add significantly to our portfolio, we want to stress that our focus is not purely on purchasing properties from those who may be facing repossession and wishing to access the equity in their portfolios as soon as possible. We have actually focused on the £1 million to £5 million property/portfolio market for some time and to this end we anticipate making up to £50 million of similar purchases during 2011. “Our ability to do this is still based on the sound fundamentals of having private funding in place and the ability to make decisions fast. As before, we are looking to work with introducers and agents to develop the PPR Estates proposition into this next, exciting phase of our development.” PPR Estates already own over 200 properties and manage over £40 million worth of property assets as landlords.
