Bridgewater announce July broker forum venues
12 July 2011
Bridgewater Equity Release, the home reversion specialist, has today (12th July 2011) announced the latest in its series of regular Broker Forums will take place in both Bristol & Maidstone during July 2011. The first forum will be held in Bristol on Tuesday 19th July at The Bristol Golf and Country Club, St. Swithins' Park, Blackhorse Hill, Almondsbury, Bristol BS10 7TP. The Maidstone forum will be held the next day on Wednesday 20th July at the Holiday Inn Maidstone, London Road, Wrotham Heath TN15 7RS. Both broker forums begin with networking from 10am for a 10.30am start. The meetings conclude at 12.30pm followed by lunch and finish at 1pm - free parking is available at both forum venues. Bridgewater?s Broker Forums are designed to provide equity release advisers, and those looking at entering the sector, with an opportunity to discuss a wide range of related issues in an informal setting. All subjects under discussion are determined by the assembled Group with popular topics often covered including: best practice, technical information on reversions, fee models, and advice on lead generation and marketing. Places at Bridgewater Broker Forums are strictly limited and those advisers wishing to register or enquire about the event should contact Karen McCulloch on 0191-269 5980 or kmcculloch@graingerplc.co.uk Full details of both July forums and future events can be found on the Bridgewater Equity Release website at: www.bridgewaterequityrelease.co.uk/adviser/events/ Peter Welch, Head of Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented: ?We are certainly in an interesting period for not just the equity release market but also in terms of the provision of retirement advice in general. The recent publication of the Dilnot report into the funding of social care has catapulted the whole issue of how individuals fund their retirement into the collective consciousness of the nation. This is therefore a particularly pertinent time for advisers who either specialise in equity release or are looking to enter the sector. We would certainly expect to be discussing Dilnot and its recommendations within our forums and we are looking forward to hearing the views of advisers on how they believe a new system will work and how they can best place their services to benefit them and their clients within this new environment. As always Bridgewater staff will be on hand to lead the meeting and provide support and information to those that attend; we therefore look forward to seeing our adviser stakeholders at the both forums during July.?
