Source Insurance Compliance Manager releases a charity single for Alzheimer's Society

17 October 2011

Source Insurance provide insurance quotation systems for mortgage brokers and IFAs. Source's compliance manager Phil Lewis is showing off some non-FSA related talents this week by releasing a single to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Phil's song was inspired by the death of his father following a long struggle against Alzheimer's Disease. A fit and healthy 63 year-old when he was first diagnosed, Richard Lewis died at the age of 70. The song deals with Phil's emotional response to his father's illness. The song was also awarded a semi-finalist position in the Adult Contemporary category of the UK Songwriting Contest, which had over 6000 entries. The song is also gaining accolades from music critics, having been descried as "beautifully done", "almost a lullaby with it's picked guitar and soft warm strings", "thoughtful acoustic guitar playing...brings out the best in Phil's vocal range", and "a real heartfelt, moving track". Released under his own name, the single Dripping Away has been released on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify and a host of other well-known digital music sites. All proceeds from the song will be donated to the Cardiff branch of the Alzheimer's Society. Please seehttp://bit.ly/oZqmU4 for further details.
