Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA collaborate to create unique Specialist Property Finance Panel
26 January 2026
In the next stage of support offered to both mortgage and specialist property finance brokers, Simplybiz Mortgages and the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA) have collaborated to create a Specialist Property Finance Panel. This joint initiative offers access to a breadth of lenders providing bridging, development finance, specialist buy-to-let, and commercial lending products.
At launch, lenders selected for the panel include B&W Bridging, FBSE Finance, InterBay, Market Harborough Building Society, Octopus Real Estate, Paragon, Precise, Roma, Saffron Building Society, and United Trust Bank.
The panel is the latest proposition enhancement open to FIBA and Simplybiz Mortgages members as both businesses continue their work to support further development and wider access within the specialist lending sector. In 2023, working alongside other industry associations, they helped to build a dedicated qualification for brokers operating in this area – the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance - quickly followed by access to the FIBA Academy, and a comprehensive online Knowledge Hub, designed to develop skills and confidence across the sector.
There will be further enhancements to the panel in the coming months, including technology solutions and enhanced support.
Martin Reynolds, Chair of FIBA and CEO of Simplybiz Mortgages, commented:
“Since its launch in 2021, this initiative has proven popular with, and extremely valuable to, members of both FIBA and Simplybiz Mortgages. The past five years have seen significant change across the specialist property finance sector and, as a result, to the support offered by FIBA.
“The reinvigorated Specialist Property Finance Panel offers an end-to-end solution for those looking to support their clients in this area. It features a revised lender panel, with additional technology solutions coming soon, which will allow brokers to take a whole of market view when selecting the products that best meet the clients' requirements.”
Emily Hollands, Group Head of Distribution at OSB Group, added:
“Brokers are absolutely fundamental to our business and it’s a pleasure to be part of an initiative between Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA to support brokers who are looking to evolve their businesses and explore the opportunities available in specialist lending.
“OSB Group operates in every market sector, whether it’s buy-to-let, bridging, or residential so we’re really pleased to be able to share our market knowledge and expertise as part of the Specialist Property Finance Panel at the start of 2026.”
